From the Earth to the Moon

A regular film that tries hard to look like a sci-fi, but lacks a lot to be considered true sci-fi. It's Verne-esque, but somehow cheap. Verne was quite pompous and grandiose in his books, but that's not the case here. It's more of a conversational film, with a hint of Bond, but very little of it. It's definitely not something that will hook you into the genre. The opposite is true. (07/14/2014)
