It's Easier for a Camel

Valeria Bruni Tedeschi's opera prima, in which she is already starting to tackle autobiographical aspects. Federica is a tremendously wealthy woman, whose fortune causes her numerous conflicts and great shame. A woman under the influence who will also find herself pressurized by her boyfriend, who insists that they have a child together, by her exasperating family, and by a former lover who reappears on the scene. All this makes up a reality from which Federica longs to escape, something she does by creating a made-to-measure world in her imagination. (Seville European Film Festival)
