My Stellar Tale

My Stellar Tale is a love letter to the enthusiastic Bulgarian astronomers who have dedicated their lives to making astronomy accessible to the public. The documentary film shows their passion with the help of the Smolyan planetarium’s story. Although the film My Stellar Tale can be considered a conventional documentary film with talking heads, it stands out thanks to the exceptional cinematography. Telescopes and binoculars under the lens of the camera literally shine and appear magical. The creators intricately play with lighting and colorful footage from the construction of the planetarium.
