The House

Gerda is a middle-aged woman, recently widowed. She now lives alone on her husbands farm. Her sister, Marie, comes to visit for the first time in fifteen years. Much has changed on the farm since a nuclear plant was built nearby. The psychological atmosphere in the house brings back memories of Maries last visit there, and lies - suppressed too long - can no longer be ignored by the two women. (Norsk Filminstitutt)
