Men in Black follows the exploits of Agents Kay (Tommy Lee Jones) and Jay (Will Smith), members of a top-secret organization established to monitor alien activity on Earth. The two MIB find themselves in the middle of a deadly plot by an intergalactic terrorist (Vincent D’Onofrio), who has arrived on Earth to assassinate two ambassadors from opposing galaxies. Kay and Jay face a simple imperative: track down the interloper or Earth will be destroyed. It’s all in a day’s work for the Men in Black. (Sony Pictures Home Entertainment)

English Great - a combination of humor, action and great ideas that places MiB far above the average. Will Smith in the role of agent Jay at last has found his place amongst the Hollywood elite and of course Tommy Lee Jones in the role of agent Kay has reinforced his position. The best part of the story is probably the first half hour when Edwards (Smith) is subjected to a series of “simple" tests. I must mention the excellent villain, Vincent D'Onofrio, who really seems like he’s trapped inside an Edgar suit under layers of make-up and latex. When I was younger, MiB (also thanks to the wonderful dubbing) immediately became my favorite movie. I can recite lines from the movie to this day. So therefore 5*. Jeebs: Hiya, Kay. How are you? Kay: Show him the imports right now! Jeebs: Yeah... I got out of that business a long time ago. Kay: Why do you lie to me Jeebs? I hate it when you lie. Jeebs: Now, just hold on a second... Kay: I'm gonna count to three. Edwards: He'll do it, Jeebs. Kay: One. Edwards: I'm telling you, that man does not look stable. Kay: Two. Edwards You know what? Talk to me; he... he’s just crazy when he's like this. Jeebs: He's always crazy. Why don't you get a massage? Take a cruise. Kay: Three. ()

English Funny and inventive sci-fi ride, where everything stands and falls with the chemistry of the grumpy Jones and laid-back Smithe. That is also the reason why the next screenings occasionally stumble unpleasantly due to deaf spots. A child's sensation that time nibbles on a little. ()

English The film that made me start liking Will Smith and has stayed with me to this day, even though he has also made some weak films. It's a great comedy, great sci-fi with unforgettable characters, but also a good story that is well thought out, action-packed, and never boring. However, the two perfectly chosen actors are the foundation. And they weren't even the first choice. ()

English An excellent popcorn flick, perhaps the best ever made in science fiction. Tommy Lee Jones represents seasoned experience that relies on strict order and years of practice, while Will Smith is brimming with youthful enthusiasm and isn't afraid to go all in. Both of them together are a guarantee of first-class entertainment and effective jokes that I love always and everywhere. The original premise is tailor-made for them and Sonnenfeld manages to execute it in a way that simply will draw people to the cinema, with humour, lots of action and amazing visuals. What the director did in the sequel, though, it’s nothing but a crime. ()
