Love comes up between Emmi, a girl studying in Paris, and a Frenchman with a family, and the man wants to divorce his wife. Meanwhile, back in Budapest, the girl finds an old amateur film of her family, which tells the story that her grandma was in love with a Pole before the war. With the help of film-restorer Légoza she tries to find out more about the mysterious man. The restorer, too, falls in love with Emmi and follows her in the quest. The girl is forced to get rid of the two jealous men in love with her, and at last she finds her Polish grandfather's grave. Meanwhile the restorer finds the promontory rock seen in the film, and there he keeps waiting for his beloved Emmi. (MNFA)
