Tora-san returns home to Shibamata only to find that his room is already occupied by a woman (Ayako Wakao) recently separated from her husband. In this, the sixth installment, Tora-san also helps a young mother (Nobuko Miyamoto) and Hiroshi, Sakura's husband, tries to start his own business. (Shochiku)
