Tonia

Eleven-year-old Tonia lives with her grandmother and father. Tonia’s mother has died and her father has lost his job and is drinking. Grandma therefore decides to send him to Italy for three months, where he can earn decent money as a construction worker. But after the death of her mother, Tonia is afraid that she will also lose her father, so she tries to thwart this plan in every possible way. Will she succeed?
