The Csárdás Queen

Prince Edvin and Szilvia, the Csárdás Queen of the Orpheum are in a desperate love, but his foster-mother, Marie-Louise wants him to marry Countess Stázi instead. Szilvia and Count Bóni turn up unexpectedly at the engagement ceremony as a married couple, together with a key witness who will reveal Marie-Louise's past. She is in fact identical with Pitykés Maca, formerly a singer at the Orpheum. Marie-Louise is compelled to consent to his son's decision to marry the Csárdás Queen. She is not very unwilling to do so since Count Bóni wants Stázi's hand in exchange. (official distributor synopsis)
