Salvation Has No Name

A peaceful life on the seashore is disrupted by an unexpected event – the waves wash up an exhausted woman. While the locals are afraid of her and blame her for their misfortune, the woman finds sympathy with the local priest. But how will the story continue and who will tell it? Superb puppet and cut-out animation in a British-Czech-French co-production about fear of the unknown. One of the film’s animators was Alfons Mensdorff-Pouilly. (Anifilm)
