More than 40 years ago, Vladimír Remek was sent into space. He thus became the first astronaut of non-American or Russian origin to do so. But that is not the only thing we have done well in space exploration. The six-part documentary series explores the achievements we have had in space exploration throughout our history. It tells both well-known stories and those that have not received much attention. It puts everything into an important societal context influenced, for example, by the space race between the East and West. (Academia Film Olomouc)
