It can’t be said that the Japanese vampire horror Lake of Dracula is particularly gory, but towards the end there are gradually more scenes that are well shot and not afraid to show something ugly. It's not bad at all for 1971, not to mention the fact that overall it’s fun to watch and doesn’t bore even after the long years that have passed since it was made. ()
