Yamata

Yamata, the Negroe slave is bought and relieved from his sufferings by a marquis. He wants to set him free, but the slave joins him faithfully and does not want to go his own way. He even escorts him to Paris, where he falls in love with the beautiful janitress girl, Ninette. When he learns that the girl is found attractive by his lord, he renounces his love. Ninette becomes the lover of the marquis but later cuckolds him with a young baron, thus making the marquis commit suicide. Then the faithful slave lures Ninette into the castle and strangles her.
