Apenas un delincuente

The film tells the story of José Morán, a clerk who wants to climb the social ladder at all costs. He thinks he has concocted the perfect plan and in order to carry it out he embezzles a large sum of money from his company. He hides it in a secret location during his six-year jail sentence so that he can use it when he comes out. But once in prison his life becomes unexpectedly complex and little by little his perfect plan turns out to have been a terrible mistake. (Venice International Film Festival)
