Omen is a myopic, inarticulate Thai clone of Final Destination. The Pang Brothers’ creative touch is PALPABLE in the subject matter, but the inexperienced and indecisive directing brings the film down to the level of a youthful eccentricity in which absolutely everything is below average, including the actors, the dramatic storyline, the suspense and the moment of surprise. Omen comes across as a film-school project made by a classmate of the three teenage main characters.
