Villa for Sale

Hódy György is off to the country. His villa on the Sváb hill is up for sale, and he puts his valet in charge, who in turn passes the assignment on to Buckó József, his own friend, who moves into the villa with a friend and Teri, his unemployed niece. Their conversation is overheard by two criminals, who, in an attempt to rob the house, pretend to be relatives of the valet. Their plan falls through thanks to Buckó and his friends. Finally, the two burglars sell the villa. However, in order to make a contract, they need someone acting as Hódy. In the meantime, Hódy becomes suspicious and returns home unexpectedly. The burglars mistakenly think he is of their kind, taking him with them to act as Hódy. The young man accepts the rules of the game, but, while signing the agreement for sale, he has the money transferred to his bank account and eventually reveals the plans of the criminals.
