Cadet Love

Koltay György steals out of the battalion quarters of the Ludovika (military academy in Budapest), to call his sweetheart on the phone. His absence is detected at the review after retreat and he is put to the detention room, where his father, General Koltay Ferenc visits him. He consoles his bitter son by recalling his own days at the Ludovika. We learn that he was also detained several times, and on one occasion he even escaped from jail to go to a feast at the girls' boarding school, to see Gyuri's mother, Annus. So he was detained again and almost missed the inauguration, but Annus, helped by the Archduke, Szalvátor, set him free. (official distributor synopsis)
