The film director starts shooting his film about the manager of a large corporation who committed suicide for mysterious reasons. As the cumbersome process of making a film goes along, everybody involved in it starts having differing opinions of the tragedy, its causes and its victim. The man having come up with the ideas, the wife of the director, the actors playing the roles and members of the staff all see the characters in the light of their own lives, relationships and experiences, and they all want to see something entirely different. All this encourages the director to keep introducing alterations to the screen-play - always in accordance with the certainties of the minute - interpreting the characters differently with every one of the staff members. - The film portrays the crisis of the director and the self-reflection so typical for the creative and receptive process with self-irony.
