Plots(1)

In March 2002 Israeli troups barged into the Palestinian refugee camp Jenin. The invasion was part of an offensive against the hard core of Palestinian terrorism. A brutal battle ensued that lasted for days and left 80 people dead. Filmmaker Mohamed Bakri arrived at Jenin a week after the troops had left the scene and stayed for three weeks. His film is a manifestation of the bitterness and despair the continued occupation and aggression against the Palestinians is causing. Crying elderly men and angry little girls – almost all of them have lost loved ones or are searching for victims among the debris. (DOK.fest München)
