Everything has something to do with horses in this film: having seen a march(ing horse), the audience is shown working horses of different kinds, such as the gardener horse of meticulous care, yet most emphasis is put on happy horses. Town of Szentes, Restaurant Delelő. You can always get tripe here. A few guys come together and they decide to drive up to Budapest in the old Zsiguli. They set off. Right at the beginning of the trip the car breaks down and they are forced to go on by train, thinking they will buy a sparking plug for it in Budapest. Budapest deserves a closer look. They make a bargain and buy a Trabant at the Ecseri flea market. Homewards bound. Motto: Simple films, simple people, simple stories. Another motto: Everyone wants to be happy. Finally: all is well when the ending is happy (like a horse). (official distributor synopsis)
