One day, Galamb Máté loses his faithful dog, Bogáncs, of the Puli breed. The runaway dog is found in the woods by the old, disillusioned acrobat, Dodó. Dodó teaches him a new trick, but when they would be ready to perform, Bogáncs leaves him as well. He is caught by dogcatchers in town. The hospital needs dogs for experiments, but the poundmaster grows so fond of Bogáncs that he decides to let him loose. Bogáncs finds his way back to the circus, and is found and taken home by his old master. Dodó is comforted by his former partner and girlfriend. (official distributor synopsis)
