Once upon a time, there was a little place called Änglamark. It had beautiful, untouched, natural scenery. Happy, harmonious people lived there, with their feet firmly in the ground. But one day, Jean Wolkswagner arrived in Änglamark wanting to buy it all up and transform it into a Deutschneyland. With the help of his efficiently Americanized Swedish public-relations man, he succeeds in manipulating those in power in Änglamark. But as his hordes of bulldozers roar forth to do battle with landscape, the local inhabitants mass their forces beneath the apple trees to do battle with the modern dragons.
