Lucky Loser

Trying to outsmart Fortune doesn't pay! Filip is a chimney sweep's son who was born unlucky. When he's at his lowest point, he meets the beautiful Hana, who is imprisoned by the brute Karlos. In an effort to gain her love - and also to rid himself of his bad luck - Filip sets out into the world. A fateful encounter with a pathological liar awaits him; he's a man who's lied so much that he doesn't even know his own name, going by the name of Whoever. Strangely enough, with the help of this hilarious confederate, Filip finds his beloved Hana and enters into an uneven struggle. (Zlín Film Festival)
