Plots(1)
Ouran Academy: An institution of extravagance and prestige where learning is secondary to luxury. Haruhi began the year as an out of place scholarship student, but she's found new popularity as a member of the Host Club. Playing the part of a sensitive suitor and wooing the ladies of the school has become a full-time job. Of course, now that Tamaki and the other boys can no longer deny the charms of her girly side, life feels more like a storybook daydream. (official distributor synopsis)
(more)Reviews (1)
Although almost nothing can be taken seriously at Ouran High School, there are also strong moments from the main characters' past or their concerns about their own future, in addition to deadly remarks and absurd situations. Thanks to them, the Host Club gains perfect timelessness, easily overshadowing any criticism of the predominantly episodic nature of the whole series. However, when Tamaki plays one of his shattered studies or Kyouya cleverly devises another way to make money off someone, I don't need any significant long-term storyline. P.S.: Let's play a game - "Which one is Hikaru?!" ()
