Prisoners of the Land

In 1915, a contractor travels to Posadas in search of new employees. In the world of missionary yerba mate plantations, the unscrupulous foreman discovers that a farm laborer has fallen in love with the village doctor’s daughter, unleashing a personal vendetta against him.
