Through intimate portraits of Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Joseph Stalin, Francisco Franco and Mao Zedong, the film tries, in an unconventional manner, to uncover the character and psychology of dictators based on their favorite foods, films, habits, and sexual preferences, without any mention of their public life.
