Leonard and Sheldon are brilliant physicists, the kind of "beautiful minds" that understand how the universe works. But none of that genius helps them interact with people, especially women. All this begins to change when a free-spirited beauty named Penny moves in next door. Sheldon, Leonard's roommate, is quite content spending his nights playing Klingon Boggle with their socially dysfunctional friends, fellow CalTech scientists Wolowitz and Koothrappali. However, Leonard sees in Penny a whole new universe of possibilities... including love. (official distributor synopsis)

The Big Bang Theory (2007)

English For the first five seasons, the show had been one of my favorites. I loved the premise and had a royally good time with the gang of geeks and Penny. Each episode had me laughing out loud, and some scenes were truly unforgettable. The first minor hiccup came with Season 6, which was the first time I didn’t give a five-star rating. More disappointment was in store for me from Season 7 on. The creators seemed to have forgotten everything that was so great about the show and turned it into a run-of-the-mill series about relationships, which stayed that way until the finale. If I had known what I know now, I would have stopped watching after Season 6 and wouldn’t have spoiled my overall impression. / Lesson learned: Enjoy it while you can. You never know what's coming. Season 1 (2007) (S01)

English Having watched the first season, I can't rate it other than five stars. The theme was plain and simple, which made it perfect. Penny, whose intelligence is not among her assets, lives on the same floor as her biggest admirer/a member of a four-person group of socially impaired scientists. Nothing huge, but the writers managed to turn this little spark into a massive flame. Each episode made me laugh out loud and brought great one-liners. I had a good time and look forward to the next season. ()

Pilot (2007) (S01E01)

English In the first episode of the first season, two totally different worlds collided for the first time, and I had a great time from the very beginning. The pilot introduced me to all five main characters, and even though I didn't understand all of the terms exactly because my intelligence is somewhere between Penny and Howard, I had a blast enjoying the episode packed with great lines. ()

The Big Bran Hypothesis (2007) (S01E02)

English It is difficult to choose which scene of the second episode was the best. It would probably be unnecessary, as the episode works very well as a whole. Personally, I was absolutely captivated by the furniture montage, as it is a matter closely related to everyday life. I have experienced a similar situation a few times, although it wasn't about a sophisticated electronic cooling system, but rather about hanging kitchen cabinets on a wall that didn't fully meet the requirements. ()

The Fuzzy Boots Corollary (2007) (S01E03)

English I really enjoyed the episode very much again, Sheldon's comments on Leonard's efforts were priceless, and Leonard's scientific analysis of romance and perfect Leslie Winkle were great. The "date" with Penny wasn't as perfect, but I won't lower my rating because the internet went out just before that:-) ()

The Luminous Fish Effect (2007) (S01E04)

English The fourth episode almost made me lose my breath, when Sheldon has enough free time, it's a clear reason to worry. His ideas were great, but his mother was even better ("You don't hunt, do you?") and her stories from Sheldon's childhood were flawless, so I had a fantastic time again. ()

The Hamburger Postulate (2007) (S01E05)

English I have become a clear fan of Leslie Winkle, her purely scientific approach to sex and relationships could destroy illusions of almost anyone. Leonard's unexpected skill of playing the cello was good on its own, but his explanation of how he achieved it was flawless. ()

The Middle Earth Paradigm (2007) (S01E06)

English "Gentlemen, to the sewing machines!" I had a great time, the Halloween party composed of Thor, Frodo, Robin Hood/Peter Pan, and the Doppler effect was perfect, and their socialization at the party was a chapter of its own. From my point of view, the second encounter between Leonard and Kurt was more favorable for the former this time because, unlike the first episode, he didn't lose his pants. ()

The Dumpling Paradox (2007) (S01E07)

English "Look, Sheldon, you're raining!" Another episode that got me. It's not good to underestimate women when it comes to video games. I know one who could embarrass many gamers and completely floored me when I saw her play Dino Crisis in Japanese until the end with my own eyes. Superhuman performance! Forgotten Raj almost tore my eardrums. ()

The Grasshopper Experiment (2007) (S01E08)

English Rajesh's problem is escalating under the pressure of his parents, and I was traditionally having a great time. "How could I be a gynecologist? I can hardly look a woman in the eye!" Kobylka was able to do unheard-of things with him, but on the other hand, she dismantled too many barriers. ()

The Cooper-Hofstadter Polarization (2008) (S01E09)

English The episode started quite innocently with the use of a truly remote control, only to be transformed into a scientific version of mud wrestling. One of the highlights brought Leonard's idea to consult Penny about suitable clothing for the conference and the subsequent ruthless cleaning. ()

The Loobenfeld Decay (2008) (S01E10)

English The tenth episode clearly proved why a lie should be simple, but for me, it remained one of the most entertaining moments of the scene, in which Sheldon is having a cruel internal struggle before rescuing the chicken. Once again, I had a great time, which has become a common occurrence with this series. ()

The Pancake Batter Anomaly (2008) (S01E11)

English Code "Light green" and an outstanding episode with "Soft Kitty". The creators managed to develop the rhyming theme perfectly, instead of the classic typhoid Mary, they used Penny with the flu, and they nailed it. Sheldon was perfect, the reactions of everyone else were not far behind, so I enjoyed the episode. ()

The Jerusalem Duality (2008) (S01E12)

English The twelfth episode, just like the previous ones, didn't disappoint me at all. Sheldon found himself in a crisis situation due to the North Korean invasion, and a few remarks from Penny were enough to make me laugh as if I were getting paid for it. Sheldon's subsequent search for a new position in the scientific field was great, so I had a good time as usual. ()

The Bat Jar Conjecture (2008) (S01E13)

English Practically the entire thirteenth episode deals with the irreconcilable, cruel, and highly action-packed battle between the teams AA and PMS, thirsty for victory in the physics quiz. The creators once again succeeded in coming up with a piece that offered more and more opportunities for me to have a great time. ()

The Nerdvana Annihilation (2008) (S01E14)

English "Snipe!", "Snipe!". Pyrrhic victory in the auction and Penny's reaction make Leonard reconsider his life values (at least temporarily). The best moment, in my opinion, was Leonard's threat when others were trying to stop him from leaving with their own bodies. ()

The Pork Chop Indeterminacy (2008) (S01E15)

English Excellent episode full of lines with perfect Rajesh, who thanks to experimental drugs loses his shyness in front of women, he just has to fight with side effects. The fight for Sheldon's sister was great and Sheldon's solution got me: "Eat this cheese without choking and you can sleep with my sister." ()

The Peanut Reaction (2008) (S01E16)

English The sixteenth episode immediately became one of my favorites. Penny's blackmailing of Sheldon was great, it turned out that Howard is capable of anything with the right motivation, and one can only regret that occasionally there isn't a Sheldon-like character in stores where a well-informed salesperson is not found. ()

The Tangerine Factor (2008) (S01E17)

English The final episode of the first season came with an unexpected development in the relationship between Leonard and Penny, although Leonard, as is his custom, once again constantly sabotaged himself. However, I was more intrigued by the subplot of this episode - Sheldon's battle for the chicken at the mandarin oranges. ()

Season 2 (2008) (S02)

English Season 2 didn't bring any disappointment, the individual characters were fleshed out and there wasn't a single episode I didn't enjoy. The only unpleasant surprise was the sudden disappearance of Dr. Stephanie without any mention of her by anyone, but I quickly forgave the writers and was compensated for it by being introduced to Leonard's mother. Otherwise, I was satisfied in every way. I had a great time throughout and boredom was not an option. ()
