Constable Jekyll knows killers well, but he's not quite up to taking them on unfortunately. Boris Hybner's mastery puts this absurd (?) performance almost on the level of Polívka's Šašek a královna. It's as timeless as it is bittersweet, and it still has something to say, though it doesn't feel as bold and shocking today. It is still a damnably intelligent mix of classic slapstick, clowning and satirical tragicomedy with an irresistible hero. And that's exactly the kind of mixes I like. ()
