I guess when you leave with a smile so wide that people suspect you of secretly drinking from your parents’ bar or doing drugs, this 17-part series has served its purpose. The whole thing holds a high level of entertainment for me, to the point where I'm sorry I've seen it all. Fortunately, there's still a special, so I'll get to it as soon as I have time. I liked the fact that the lead really looks like a guy, of course her femininity peeked out at times, but in the right places. Plus, this is the first dorama where I had heard the OST before I saw it, so when the lovely soundtrack played, I felt at home, like I'd already been around the series and it was very familiar. :-))) Simply – I was very happy while watching it and it deserves no less than 5 stars for that feeling! The perfect comic beginning, a funny getting-to-know-you sequence, and a wonderful romantic middle. The atmosphere of the cafe was perfect and after a few hours I felt at home there. I did miss some more assertive music for the dramatic situations though. Yoo Gong won me over to the max. Even in the 14th episode, I was determined to lean towards the highest rating, assuming the ending would be a good one. But it disappointed me sooooo much that I'm giving it barely (!!!) 4 stars. I would like to forget the last two episodes and thereby keep only fond memories of Coffee Prince... grrr, I'm so angry! ()
