Plots(1)
American burlesques, Harold Gridley (Bob Hope) and George Cochran (Bing Crosby), flee Australia to escape a double shotgun wedding and manage to get hired on as deep-sea divers by a sinister South Seas prince looking for a sunken fortune. After an eye-popping altercation with an octopus, the boys decide to give up treasure hunting and make their way to Bali where they both fall for beautiful island princess Lalah (Dorothy Lamour). But all affectations of love are soon overshadowed by the evil machinations of their former employer, Prince Arok (Murvyn Vye), as he attempts to overthrow Princess Lalah and take control of her throne. Who will get the girl and save the day - hilarious hopeful Harold Gridley (Hope) or suave singer George Cochran (Crosby)? (Echo Bridge Entertainment)
