Since childhood, Flint Lockwood has dreamed of inventing something that would make a difference in people's lives. Unfortunately, all of his absurd inventions (including spray-on shoes, hair unbalder, and monkey thought translator) have ended in trouble for him, his parents, and his hometown of Swallow Falls. But the ceaseless optimist has never given up on his lifelong goal and now, his latest invention - a machine that makes awesome food rain from the sky - actually works and changes the lives of everyone in his small town. English A really great animation film from Sony. It has an excellent and original idea about a quirky genius who invents a machine that makes food fall from the sky, and since no one in the city has eaten anything other than sardines for a long time, it becomes a huge hit. The black policeman (a humorous touch) and the crazy mayor are good, and in the end, everything turns upside down in the classic way. The animation is not breathtaking, but thanks to the idea and cool characters, it's a great thing. 8/10. ()

English Animated films are usually made by people who have imagination and that's why people enjoy them... it's no different with Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Great story, nice characters... so a nice fairy tale not only for kids. It is true that a little more humor wouldn’t hurt... that's why the 4 stars. ()

English For Somalis a provocation, for anorexics a nightmare, for the consumer society a tease and for me, after a long time, finally an animated film that is properly swinging, has an imaginative style (even if technically it lags behind its counterparts) and is brimming with ideas. Basically, and Aardman film, but without Aardman. ()

English After a drawn out and very uninteresting opening, the whole narrative flips to a more personal level, where the best moment by far is Flint and Sam bonding and overcoming their childhood traumas together. It's certainly got a novel story and a decent momentum in its second half, but the exposition is so dull and drawn out that it ultimately falls into that sort of broader average among cartoons. English The film is quite good, what pleasantly surprised me, in particular, were several great ideas on how to use food essentially for horror scenes. The arrival of the chickens is indeed pleasantly creepy, but otherwise, it's a classic film about how one outsider strives to make it, almost messes everything up, but because they have a good heart, they manage to save what they can.
