English Disney's sweets never offended or disgusted me. Rather the opposite. That's why I'm sad that Hannah is unusually engineered in terms of plot and I give my whole 50% for that sweet face and perfectly fitting songs that weaken my pop knees. And the fact that this spectacle must provoke anger in American small towns still brings an unprecedented smile to my face. Three stars partly out of spite. Nothing annoys me more than the automatic negative disdain towards all teenage girls who are supposedly "typically American". ()

English I laughed once, unfortunately I have no idea what it was, even though I only turned the movie off a second ago... oh well. I hate it when the "bad guy" turns good. I hate the pathetic bullshit. I hate quite a bit about this movie. But lucky for Hanna that she can sing, at least that kept me from bursting out in cynical laughter and peppering the screen with sarcasm for a while. A very, very weak 1 star. ()

English I give the film three completely average stars, no matter how much you may get mad at me, because within the genre, it belongs there. HM is certainly does not deserve a Boo!, and I've certainly seen worse atrocities (yes, all those musicals from high school that I didn't have the energy to even watch, let alone finish). A few scenes are funny (the opening ride in the trolley, Miley's dad demolishing his collection of plates...), and a few are even touching. The whole thing is nicely filmed, the singing numbers have swing and the camera plays with the colors and the Tennessee landscape. I also like the soundtrack. Compared to the crap like hip-hop, rap, techno, dance, trance, other "ance" genres and all these similar styles that are trending nowadays, this is nice country-pop... What? ()
