English The overrated The Untouchables could could learn from this what real life and real emotions are. Absolutely brilliant. ()

English Another French movie deserving of the full number stars. It’s been happening more than often lately. On the other hand, I don’t mind it at all. If the French keep coming up with such good ideas as in this movie, I’ll be more than happy to keep giving them good ratings. To tell the story of an absolutely average French family within five days of their lives, with each day being about one member, is an excellent idea in my opinion. Moreover, the whole movie is incredibly nice, pleasant, natural and completely human, so don’t hesitate and go watch it. This movie definitely deserves it. ()

English It's quite a pleasant film about the joys and sorrows of an average French middle-class family featuring adolescence, aging, love conflicts, emotional struggles, reconciliation, and forgiveness. However, I don't fully agree with the high rating this film has. It feels like a two-hour compilation of an average French family series with 150 episodes. But yes, it is a compilation of the best parts, and it's well-cast and acted. Nevertheless, I had the feeling of time passing too quickly and important themes and characters just passing by, rather than truly experiencing them. Overall impression: 65%. ()
