Whistle Stop

Returning from Chicago to her whistle-stop hometown, Mary (Ava Gardner) rendezvous with her former flame Kenny (George Raft), only to learn that he is still the unmotivated, lazy guy he was when she left for the big city. Turned off by her ex, Mary takes up with successful nightclub owner Lew Lentz (Tom Conway).
