Plots(1)
Ookami Ryouko is a spunky and, by some accounts, rather manly high school girl. She is tall, speaks in a traditionally masculine way and is very proficient in fighting. Ookami-san's best friend is the small and high-pitched voiced Akai Ringo. Ookami and Ringo are members of the Otogi Bank, a club in Otogi High School that assists students with their problems in return for their assistance on a different problem at a later date. The Otogi Bank is able to solve any problem and will go to any lengths to do so, often leading the members to danger or mayhem. Since most of the members of the club are female, another male is needed for the more dangerous assignments. Thus, the scopophobic (the fear of being looked at) Morino Ryoushi is inducted as a member, right after he confesses his love for Ookami... (FUNimation)

Seen it so many times, just with a pretty pointless opening. I feel like this is an anime that goes from nowhere to nowhere. Once again, everyone has their traumas, their hurts from the past that they lick each other and eventually get rid of, everyone’s happy, the villain vanquished, and happy ever after. If it didn't have those first two words I wrote, I would have enjoyed it more. As it is, it's a waste of time for me, because I know there are much better rabukoms out there. But if you like a shy hero (to the extreme – fear of being seen, I think, is extreme), a heroine who acts tough, thrashes around, and spouts crankiness everywhere, but deep down is actually a fragile young lady, and a bunch of friends who have qualities like skirt-chasing, manipulation, caring, goodness cried to the heavens that is easily mistaken for dullness, jealousy, etc., then this is the anime for you.
