FilmHAND is one of Blum’s few non-political films, a celebration of the human hand as a tool, an expression of inner emotions, and an opportunity for closeness. Blum edits close-ups of hands, from childhood to old age, into short studies showing them at work: sowing, cooking, playing cards, weaving baskets, tying shoelaces, and working with film.
