English If Miroslav Krobot had not decided to become an actor, the film "Dům" would not have been created. It relies on his minimalist acting, which essentially requires only one expression. It's as if the role was written specifically for him. Krobot has not yet shown how many dimensions of acting he possesses, but he hasn't had to yet. With his abilities, with which he doesn't reveal everything, he managed to brilliantly entertain in the film "Účastníci zájezdu", as well as master the character "Alois Nebel" or the character of Father Imrich in the film "Dům". He definitely has nothing to be ashamed of. His father/builder, who wants to build a house for his daughters, each one, is a typical person who cares about the well-being of his family, and he doesn't mind terrorizing them. The main thing is that it will be his. Imrich is not a completely negative character, but he simply cannot get over his dreams, his visions that everyone must submit to. After all, what sacrifice is it to build a house for your daughters? What more could they want? Only then will the family be happy. He simply doesn't realize that it is his own behavior that is making the family unhappy, driving everyone away, except for his faithful wife. The screenplay is great, its execution is not that breathtaking. As I said, without the performances of the actors, there would be empty spaces here, which ultimately remain. It's as if the director and screenwriter simply didn't want to address certain problems, explain them too much, and the film simply ends with the idea that everything turned out well. The ending may be too pandering, although Miroslav Krobot makes you believe that he really means it. More: http://www.filmovy-denik.cz/2012/07/happy-feet-2-bobr-cislo-4-musketyri.html ()
