English John Redmond, the Evangelist is a classic morality tale, which Nordisk, starring Psilander, has made into an attractive drama. Psilander's John Redmond tells the story of his life, which made him a man of faith, at a time when he is a moral figure in his community. At that time, when he was still young and rich, he got together with a woman from the half-world, which resulted in expulsion from the family circle, subsequent rejection even in the half-world, and even murder by negligence, as well as several years in prison. During this time, Redmond lost both parents and his life was filled with one goal - to help his fellow man. In this way, a similar problem could have been exposed in the new generation, which the mature Redmond could have dealt with as a leader... What is also great is that the DVD from the Det Danske Filminstitut collection also features a pair of alternative endings for Russia and Sweden. Now we can really choose which ending suits us better today. In their time, the Russians preferred a dead-end drama, the Swedes a new hope, and the Danes kept their morals straight. What about you? ()
