A drama of a young Slovak army officer. In the course of fights in the Ukraine he gradually realizes the horrors of fascism. On his return to Slovakia he takes part in the Slovak National Uprising. But there he cannot overcome his solitary disposition and moreover he doubts about the meaning of partisan activities. (official distributor synopsis)
