Plots(1)

A contemporary take on the classic Arthur Conan Doyle stories, Sherlock is a thrilling, funny, fast-paced adventure series set in present-day London. Co-created by Steven Moffat (Doctor Who, Coupling) and Mark Gatiss, Sherlock stars BAFTA-nominee Benedict Cumberbatch (Hawking, Amazing Grace) as the new Sherlock Holmes and Martin Freeman (The Office, Love Actually), as his loyal friend, Doctor John Watson. Rupert Graves plays Inspector Lestrade. The iconic details from Conan Doyle's original books remain - they live at the same address, have the same names and, somewhere out there, Moriarty is waiting for them. And so across three thrilling, scary, action-packed and highly modern-day adventures, Sherlock and John navigate a maze of cryptic clues and lethal killers to get at the truth. Sherlock (2010)

English We will see beloved stories like "A Study in Scarlet" or "The Hound of the Baskervilles", but also the less known ones. With each new episode, we are more and more convinced that we are watching one of the best television works ever. ()

The Lying Detective (2017) (S04E02)

English On one hand, I was thinking, "What on earth is this about?", but on the other hand, it was quite clever, or it just seemed so cleverly executed that I fell for the game again. The characters continue to evolve, the cases remain interesting, and Toby Jones was brilliantly chosen as the antagonist. Yeah, this episode was worth it. ()

The Final Problem (2017) (S04E03)

English This was just too overwrought for me. It's like the creators didn't know how much more to complicate things to make it truly surprising. I'm just waiting for the next season where there will be more super villains and those episodes will be even weirder, so that in the end, it all makes even more sense. I still love the show, but maybe it needs to end. ()
