Freeheld

Ellen Page plays a lesbian. Well, she must've had to work hard for that. Julianne Moore plays a terminally ill woman, and a lesbian to boot. No offense, but that's a bit of a cliché in her case. Plus, Ellen Page looks sicker than Julianne at times. Michael Shannon shines the best in it. I consider him one of the best actors of today, who still hasn't landed a role that would truly propel him to the forefront. (01/21/2016)

A movie full of solid acting performances with a plot that cannot be independently understood 100% due to a lack of similar experience. Having said that, the movie at least shows that a human being is an absolutely varied entity that, if they manage to find their path in life, will not leave it until they agree they have come to the end. And for this idea and the life story itself, this film definitely deserves your attention. (02/03/2017)
