The light and sunny Italian comedy with a slightly improbable plot focuses on the issue of the maturity of people in their forties, who should be at the peak of their adult life according to social expectations. Giorgio, Lorenzo, Piero, Luisa, Virgilio and Francesca used to be inseparable friends twenty years ago, but they lost touch after graduation. At the request of the Ministry of Education, they must pass the high school certification again, which they use as an opportunity to meet again after such a long time. The social interaction between formerly close friends proves to be more difficult than the studying itself as they have been almost equally unable to step out of their puberty's shadow and grow up during those twenty long years.
