The basis for this documentary: the films on ecological disasters and the horrors of industrialized agriculture have already fulfilled their objective of informing the public, it is now time to establish a series of solutionsfor the present conflicts. Therefore, the French director travels around the world in search of specialists –microbiologists, independent farmers, engineers- so to demonstrate, with all probability that the solution to environmental problems lies in the production of foodat a small scale. The film provides examples such as the Brazilian farmers, the biggest organic plantation in Ukraine and the experimental farms of India. The film is about, as the title suggests, local solutions for a global disorder. Coline invites the public to analyze, from a precise circumstance, a series of specific ecological factors without dwelling on shocking images. (El Riviera Maya Film Festival)
