When the Danish beauty Mette Werner loses one of her gloves on a trip to Norway, her superstitious uncle Ib is afraid this is a very bad omen. His solution is: a skiing trip up in the mountains in Norway. If they find the glove, everything will be fine. In the mountains we meet ski coach Ola, the author Knut and uncle Ib's new best friend Joachim Tønnesen. Everything is good fun until Knut's fiancé Ebba shows up one evening. She can´t understand why Knut has to spend all of his time writing. In an attempt to make her fiancé jealous, she seizes all of Ola's time, and with that messes up the new found romance between Mette and Ola. (The Norwegian International Film Festival)
