English John Frankenheimer is indeed known for his mastery of car chase sequences (or was, unfortunately), and he demonstrated his skills in a way that few others could. However, the screenplay provided by Andrew Kevin Walker lacks a more original idea, and his favorite and mostly usual depressing culmination does not take place in this case. Formally, it’s more or less flawless, but as a whole, it is uninteresting and dull, and the final twist, which is supposed to be the point, is insufficient in this case. ()

English John Frankenheimer has never disappointed me with any of his films and this short (unfortunately his last work) proves that the film world was dealing with a real pro and an expert in frantic yet clearly shot action. Yes, it's possible even without the stupid evil ten cuts in one second. The story is rather classic, but not stupid, and while the point is not surprising, it is nevertheless quite nice. ()

English In terms of action, this is the most exciting instalment of the series, but it’s also the poorest in terms of plot – I would have expected Andrew Kevin Walker to make a better point. In any case, it’s visually perfect. ()
