In the case of this interesting French animated film, I really liked the concept and animation, but I would probably have liked it even more if the movie had been approached in a much more depressing manner, rather than as light-hearted as it actually was. However, I have to admit that the musical numbers, for example, worked well for me and I enjoyed them very much. ()
Interesting subject matter with a commendable message, but the resulting film is too impersonal. If this had been made by Tim Burton, it could’ve been a blast. ()
