A Letter from Germany

FilmEXPERIENCES is based on letters written by three women from Eastern Europe who have gone to work in Germany. In this focused, ascetic film, their fates – condensed into descriptions of denigration and exploitation – are combined with images of the places their left behind. These are the essence of the memories that the women cling to but that also embody their sense of uprootedness. (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)
