Almanac: Fires in Russia, Summer 2010

FilmFIRE combines five films shot by students from Marina Razbezhkina’s Documentary Film Studio, showing the 2010 forest and peat bog fires in central Russia. The filmmakers travel with firefighters and volunteers to the afflicted areas, reporting on the struggle with the fire and painting a socially important portrait of contemporary Russian.
