FilmHAMMER is a poetic homage to machines and the speed and efficiency of work that is both celebratory and critical: Man’s encounter with machine can be both symbiosis and struggle. This controversial compilation film, which led to charges of plagiarism, uses scenes from Dziga Vertov’s The Eleventh Year and Alexander Dovzhenko’s Zvenyhora.
