People I Could Have Been and Maybe Am

FilmCELL-PHONE exists in the space between documentary and fiction without a script. Its protagonists are a young woman from Brazil in search of a husband and a better life for her son, a one-legged beggar with a drug addiction, and a poet. Their stories bubble up from the anonymous city, filmed in blurry images on the cell phone of the director, who is both observer and active participant.
